TestMySetup is designed to run its diagnostic tools in your browser. This page explains what the site currently handles.

Camera and microphone

Camera and microphone tests ask for browser permission only after you start them. Their media streams are used temporarily inside your browser to show a preview or audio level. TestMySetup does not record, upload, or store those streams. Access stops when you close the test, leave the page, or revoke permission.

Device information

The device information test displays values your browser makes available, such as browser family, operating system, screen size, approximate memory, CPU thread count, language, touch support, cookie availability, online status, and time zone. The results are displayed on your device and are not submitted through the tool.

Connection check

The response check sends small requests to this site to measure response time. Like ordinary website visits, hosting infrastructure may process standard request data such as IP address, user agent, time, and requested page for security and delivery.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

TestMySetup does not currently set its own analytics or advertising cookies and does not currently run third-party ads. If analytics or advertising is introduced, this policy and any consent controls will be updated before activation.

Data sharing and retention

TestMySetup does not sell personal information. The diagnostic tools do not create user accounts or a stored history. Hosting providers may retain limited operational logs under their own security and retention practices.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke camera and microphone permission through your browser settings. You can also clear site data using your browser controls.
