How to check your keyboard
- Click or tap inside the test area.
- Press one key at a time and confirm the displayed key matches.
- Test Shift, Ctrl, Alt, Command, and common combinations.
- Repeat any unreliable key several times to check for intermittent input.
A key is not detected?
Try a different browser, reconnect the keyboard, and remove any key-remapping software. Built-in browser and operating-system shortcuts may be intercepted before a page can show them.
Does the test store what I type?
No. Keys are displayed only on the current page and are not sent or saved. Avoid typing passwords into any keyboard test.
