How to test your camera
- Select Start camera test.
- Choose Allow when your browser requests camera access.
- Check that the preview is clear, correctly framed, and updates smoothly.
- On a phone, use Switch camera to try the other lens.
Camera permission blocked?
Open the camera icon near the address bar, allow access for this site, then reload the page. Close meeting or recording apps that may already be using the camera.
Why is the preview mirrored?
A mirrored preview feels natural for positioning yourself. Other people normally see the unmirrored image in meeting apps.
Does this site save video?
No. TestMySetup does not record, upload, or store the camera stream.
